Organic matter-based vegetation substrate spraying work "Green Rock Method"

We aim to create a vibrant green space and ensure slope stability through plant root systems.

The "Green Rock Method" is a technique for greening vegetation on soil-less rocky ground, rock slopes, and mortar spray surfaces. Seeds, fertilizers, bonding materials, and Green Rock (organic growth substrate) are fed into a mortar spraying machine, mixed, stirred, and then sprayed using compressed air. The entire layer of organic Green Rock growth substrate has high water retention, thermal insulation, and nutrient retention properties, is highly breathable, and is suitable for plant growth. 【Features】 ■ The polymer-based resin has high water resistance and weather resistance, is flexible, and does not adversely affect plant germination and growth. ■ The water-retaining agent mixed into Green Rock has high water absorption and retention capabilities, making it sufficiently durable for construction during dry periods. ■ The Green Rock growth substrate consists of intertwined long and short fibers, has high erosion resistance, and remains stable even after rainfall immediately following construction. ■ Green Rock is entirely managed and produced in a factory, packaged for consistent quality, and easy quality control. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

【Construction Example】We created a slope (embankment) where children can run around safely.

Greening up to soft rock II is possible with a two-layer vegetation substrate! An example of construction using protective materials.

We would like to introduce a case where the 'Green Format Mega Type' mat, made from thinning wood with functional charcoal, was used in safety measure construction in Kanagawa Prefecture. To allow children to run and play on the slope, protective materials were used in conjunction with the installation. This product features a two-layer structure utilizing thinning wood (wood wool fibers), which not only provides excellent moisture retention from the vegetation base layer below and the substrate bag above but also offers superior insulation and reduces frost heave. Please feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries. 【Case Overview】 ■ Installation Location: Kanagawa Prefecture ■ Installation Date: March 2022 (Year 4 of Reiwa) ■ Quantity: 50m² ■ Soil Type: Soft Rock ■ Purpose: Other *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Material: Vegetation substrate material KINAN SOIL

Restoration of a lush green environment.

A landscape covered in green is a symbol of a rich natural environment. An environment suitable for the growth of "green = plants" can be considered favorable for all animals, including humans. If we seek a more comfortable living environment, it is desirable to take care to minimize damage to nature during development, and if destruction is unavoidable, to promptly restore and regenerate it. "KINAN SOIL" is a vegetation foundation material that promotes greening alongside development and greening for nature that has been left damaged. Through the recovery of greenery, we assist in creating a more livable environment.

Rooftop Greening [Construction Examples]

Introducing various examples of rooftop greening construction, including FTM backs!

This is a case study of rooftop greening conducted by Yagiman Co., Ltd., which promotes greening projects through rooftop and wall greening. We are introducing examples such as "FTM Back," "Vegetation substrate + weed control sheet + plug seedlings," and "Vegetation substrate + sedum sheet method" with photographs. 【Construction Examples】 ■ FTM Back ■ Weed control sheet + plug seedlings ■ Vegetation substrate + plug seedlings (sedum species dying out → replanting with evergreen stonecrop) ■ Vegetation substrate + plug seedlings ■ Vegetation substrate + sedum sheet method *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Slope greening and buried drainage civil engineering heat-treated vegetation substrate material

Introduction of regional seedling vegetation and adaptation to vegetation aimed at natural environment conservation.

The heat-treated vegetation substrate can be used as a vegetation base that does not contain weed seeds, having undergone heating treatment with a rotary kiln. It is safe to use as a cultivation soil since it does not contain pathogens or parasites. The substrate is well-balanced with inorganic amendments such as vermiculite and perlite, as well as organic amendments like peat moss and coco peat, making it suitable for a wide range of vegetation from seedlings to transplantation. The vegetation substrate excels in preventing erosion caused by rainfall due to the entanglement of fibrous amendments, ensuring stable vegetation establishment. The formulation is designed to enhance water retention functionality to improve initial rooting immediately after planting and promote early growth. It increases nutrient retention, allowing for effective fertilization design even in slopes and highly permeable native soils. As a factory-produced product, it can be used with confidence. [Construction Example] Mountain conservation work promoting natural infiltration with greening foundation products.

Order from the Shikoku Forest Management Bureau of the Forestry Agency! The soil type is gravelly soil, the quantity is 400m2, and it is for erosion control purposes.

We would like to introduce a case where the vegetation mat "Kyojingar ST60" with a green foundation (mortar bags) for promoting natural invasion was installed in a restoration forestry project. This project was commissioned by the Shikoku Forest Management Bureau of the Forestry Agency and was carried out in Kochi Prefecture. The soil type was gravelly soil, with a quantity of 400m2, for forestry purposes. The solidified mortar bags maintain a long-term growth foundation. Additionally, a special thin cotton protects the surface layer of the slope for an extended period until the plants become established. [Case Overview] ■ Project Name: Restoration Forestry Project ■ Location: Kochi Prefecture ■ Construction Date: June 2019 (Reiwa 1) ■ Quantity: 400m2 ■ Soil Type: Gravelly Soil *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Introduction to the "Topsoil Restoration Greening Method"

Greening is possible not only on hard rock surfaces but also on mortar spray surfaces and concrete retaining walls!

We offer a "topsoil restoration greening method" that restores the local natural environment and ecosystem by returning various dormant seeds in the topsoil to the area. We can stably create a thick vegetation base even in difficult greening areas such as steep slopes and rocky ground. 【Features】 ■ Uses up to 95% topsoil ■ Maximum particle size of 40mm ■ No issues with the inclusion of roots, small stones, or branches and leaves ■ Compatible with various types of topsoil ■ Spraying equipment tailored to the scale of construction *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
